Churros With a Twist

homemade-churros-recipe-1

Hi guys ! It’s been a very long time…I’ve been so busy 😦

But i’m back with a post that i’m sure will be approuved by your tummy πŸ˜‰

Summer is coming which means in my mind: BEACH and what is going with beach… CHURROS of course !!! 😏

It has always been my weak spot with ice cream, and I love it with a lot of nutella πŸ˜‰ but this recipe found onΒ papernstitchblog.com totally attracted me because of a twist in the recipe.

Instead of plain sugar, churros are rolled in cinnamon sugar which i think is a genious idea as a cinnamon lover πŸ™‚

Another original idea is the use of salted dulce de leche sauce to replace the usual chocolate sauce.

So go check out this delicious recipe !

Enjoy

The Cold vs The Soup

tad0256-edit1

Grrrr…It’s cold outside !!!

I know, not a very original way to start a post about soup but it’s so true πŸ™‚

For me cold temperatures rhyme with hot tea, blanckets and soup… lot of it !

But the problem is that i do the same recipes again and again, so when i came across these beautiful pictures and then read the recipe i thought WOW that seems delicious and original compared to the kind of soup i make.

And besides it’s been a while that i wanted to try a butternut soup πŸ™‚ I can’t wait to taste it !!!

So if like me you’re tired of eating boring soup check out this recipes at aberdeenskitchen.com

Hope you will like it πŸ™‚

PS: It is of course the soup that wins against the cold πŸ˜‰

Rustic+Felt+Christmas+Trees-0963

Hi everyone it’s been a while !

Since a little girl i always loved christmas and all the things that come with it: Christmas decorations, gingerbread, Christmas tv movies, and of course Christmas songs πŸ˜‰

But what i really like is to make Christmas decorations myself, i don’t get time to do it now, but i like the feeling to decor my home with stuff i made (i know i’m totally sentimental) and so i fell in love with this amazing DIY christmas tree at littlehouseoffour.com

It changes because it’s not shiny or colorful like we are used to, but more natural, bare and aesthetic… I like it !!!

Also it seems really easy to make πŸ™‚

Coconut Fever

7614748_origSource: wellroundedny.com

I recently went to the darkside of the force and bought coconut oil and it’s been two weeks that i’m using the beauty/ healthy trend.

I decided to start strong and i went for raw organic coconut oil, there is a huge choice on amazon.

My first reaction when i opened it was “gosh love that smell” after that was “gosh love the texture” lol it’s solid but it melt when you touch it and become liquid.

So far i’m using coconut oil on my hair as a deep mask treatment and i have already seen the effects, my hair is more shiny and soft. I also use it on damp hair but you have to use just a little amount or you hair will be greasy.
